Brief Encounters
Emily and Cameron’s story goes back far, even further than they may realize. They first meet in 6th grade and the only thing they had in common was sharing a math class. They maybe spoke once or twice, but their conversations never went past a couple of words. Those few moments ended up being the only time they interacted the rest of middle school, but the seed was unknowingly planted as their paths were destined to cross again.
Reconnection
It wasn’t until 11th grade that they would see each other again. Déjà vu it would seem to be as they again shared a math class. They would also share the same small strings of conversation. A chemistry class senior year is where they would really begin to connect. They noticed each other more and passing glances became purposeful. They looked forward to greeting each other every morning. Conversation evolved past small talk and meaningful dialogue emerged. They started to spend lunch together, conversation deepened, and a bond was formed.
Bonded
We skip to junior year of college. After they had spent their first two years of college together, their paths had split as Cameron had transferred to WCU and Emily had gone to UNCC. While it would seem they were on opposite ends of the earth, their bond remained strong, and their relationship had matured. Even though they were separated physically, they were intertwined emotionally.
The Next Steps
After years of their growing relationship, new careers, new experiences, and wonderful moments, it is now time for Emily and Cameron to take the next steps. Although their title will change, their relationship will remain the same… strong, understanding, and always growing. Please join us on June, 30th, 2026 to make it official!
